Yep, Rasta’s given name is Erasmus. Honestly, whose parents would name them Rasta? Rasta dislikes the name Erasmus. While in his latter years of school, he shortened it to Ras (meaning prince). When he decided to grow dreads, his friends started calling him Rasta and that stuck.
